Vigilante Project Television Series

My journey into comics began with my love of film and TV. I conceived and wrote Vigilante Project as a screenplay and I wanted to see it on the big screen. My agent encouraged me to create a comic book as a “leave behind” for our meetings, and things went crazy from there. As demand for the comics grew, so did the story. Before I knew it, the story I wanted to tell had grown larger than what could fit into a film and I began to develop Vigilante Project for television instead.

Chances are you already knew that, but what you may not know is that I’ve written the pilot, and I already have some ideas for casting. I do not want to get ahead of myself so my focus is on making great comics, but for those that dream of watching a live-action version of Vigilante Project, here are the basics and I’ll even share a link to the pilot for you to read at the bottom of the page.

Log Line: After losing his kid sister to sex trafficking, an ordinary college student risks everything to find those responsible and bring them to justice.

Vigilante Project Video Production Still

A still from a Vigilante Project promotional video.

When his kid sister Alicia is kidnapped, abused, and murdered, Alvin Gentry naturally trusts the police to find the person responsible. A college student with a dark past, Alvin slips into a deep, angry depression while awaiting justice. As the investigation stalls, Alvin uncovers a clue that could help solve the case.

Ignored by police and with more and more time passing, our unlikely hero decides to find the killer himself. But Alvin can’t just become a vigilante, he has to learn how. With little training, experience, or resources Alvin takes on what he calls his “vigilante project” and sets out to find his sister’s killer. As he follows the clues, Alvin discovers just how challenging his new project can be.

Along the way, he seeks counsel from a local Catholic priest, crosses a street gang with ties to organized crime, and falls in love with his married apartment manager Rebecca. But when Alvin discovers that there is more to his sister’s disappearance than meets the eye, he must take on more than he ever expected, risking it all to save another little girl that is being held by the same man.
